I'm an ADA Journal Cover Finalist!
Are you going to the American Dietetic Association conference this year (FNCE)? Be sure to stop by the ADA Journal’s booth (#851) and vote for your favorite finalist photo to be on the cover next year!
The competition asks that members submit food and nutrition related photos that embody a trend or theme of the year. I picked the idea of local and seasonal foods (Although it SHOULDN'T be a passing trend!). The blackberries, wineberries, and herbs in my photo are all straight from my backyard. For me, berries are as seasonal as it gets! They can decompose rapidly, so to have them at their nutritional and taste peak it's essential to buy local (or frozen).
