Woo hoo! It's basically citrus season! That means one of the best beauty booster nutrients (vitamin C) is abundant. A squeeze of lemon over spinach (for better absorption). A clementine in your purse for a smart snack. And of course, smoothie additions out the wazoo.
After a day of meetings yesterday across the DMV including a little visit with other private practice dietitians in Northern Virginia to totally informally present on social media, it's time to go visit a few of my consultant contracts today before the crazy holidays to make sure things are running smoothly. And then some basic errands: picking up supplies for the next photo shoot. Taking the hound for a pedicure. Stopping by the library to return and pick up books...It's starting to feel like I truly do need more than 24 hours in a day which really means, I need to evaluate my commitments for 2015 and make some cuts again like I did earlier this year. I'm really looking forward to my friend and office mate, Meg Biram's e-book release soon which is designed to help figure out how to #GSD (get shit done). Or as I need right now #GATSD (get ALL THE SHIT done). But you know what's great for a busy day? A smoothie on the run. Boom. Totally tied that all back together.
Pomegranate Banana Beauty Booster Smoothie

- squeeze of lime
- seeds of 1/2 pomegranate
- 1 banana
- 1/2 apple, peeled and cored
- 2 inches cucumber peeled
- hemp seeds
