Cara Cara Oranges with Pepper Dressing
Cara Cara oranges came into my house on accident. Only when I sliced one open did I realize this was no ordinary orange. With a prettier pink flesh and less abrasive taste, cara caras are a treat for a spring or summer salad. Packed with vitamin C (your skin will love you), this salad is sophisticated and snappy.
The dressing is a blend of reduced balsamic and a touch of black pepper simple syrup . With fresh basil on top for another, slightly different peppery element, the entire dish is gorgeously layered in taste.
