Another month, another celebration cake! May was all about the tiny lemon thyme cakes, but June is a huge triple rum, strawberry bundt cake. And I can't help but feel it's just a completely appropriate cake for my birthday month. June was a great month. I ate at a lot of fantastic restaurants. I had a feature in Washingtonian Bride and Groom Magazine. I filmed with CNN for a segment on wedding wellness. I started my year as president elect for the Virginia Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. And it's only half way through the month. June is great. And so is this cake. So great, you're actually going to need to specifically go buy a bottle of rum to make it. There's rum in the batter, then you soak the cake in rum, then you add it to the whipped topping. So I think if we extrapolate...this cake is also an antiseptic?
