Whole Wheat Oat Flour Chocolate Banana Bread
I go through phases with banana bread. Sometimes, it’s in constant rotation (extra cinnamon). Other times, every banana becomes a smoothie. But since it’s the depths of February and six inches of snow was thusly dumped upon our region, smoothies are not happening in this house.
I love this version of banana bread. I added cocoa powder and cinnamon (seriously pair chocolate and cinnamon together in your baked goods- our baker friend taught us this trick and it’s beyond good). I also used some Bob’s Red Mill Oat flour. It has health benefits, but it also adds a nice layer of flavor with the whole wheat flour we also used.
