Currently...concerting. Off to the races! The husband and I have seen two shows since the start of June. One was Bill Cosby and the other was Steve Martin and the Steep Canyon Rangers. Both were amazing. Both were sold out shows. And if you think you don't like bluegrass or that Steve can't play the banjo...you wrong. I'll prove it. They're on tour this summer!
Currently...movie watching. Sunday night we went with my siblings (PS, we are all in our 20's), mom, and Grandma to see Monsters University. It was funny, adorable, and despite the annoyances that come with being seated in a room full of children for 2 hours, I loved it. I would see it again. It was better than the first one!
Currently...cooking. Our CSA box had lots of rhubarb. My go to is Nikki's strawberry rhubarb crumble. My word of advice? Make extra. I also made this Chobani frozen yogurt in cookie dough flavor. It's very easy (I think it needs a bit less baking soda, but that's my only change).
Currently...loving this fruit print dress. More and more I find myself drawn to more casual dresses. I have business casual dresses for dayyyyys. J. Crew loves me. But I find myself waking up and looking for something light and breezy for errands. Madewell has the most fabulous foodie approved dress ever right now.
Currently...feeling restless. This happens to me every summer. Always. Summers are notoriously peaceful in the health world and in the social media world. Everyone goes on vacation. It's not a bad thing, but now that my students are on break, my role as campus dietitian begins to taper until August. My private clients are on vacation. Wedding season is in full swing, so all of my spring brides are already Mrs. It's not that I don't have something to do, it's just that it's not as much as the rest of the year. And while I try and be a good girl and freaking relax...it's hard. I like to be on the move with lots of projects. So I'm trying to slow it down, tweak and set big goals. To create more wedding wellness healthy chick downloads for you all. To launch a new product collaboration. To write more for Huffington Post Weddings. And to take a chill pill. Do you get this way?
