Currently...6.3 Georgetown, Weddings and Birthdays


Currently planning something healthy, fun and fabulous with Georgetown's Carine's Bridal. I love what I do as a dietitian. Starting a company based on wedding wellness has been amazing. On Friday I met with the bridal boutique's wonderful PR woman to discuss the start to a possible event for DC, Northern Virginia and Maryland brides this summer. I'll give you details once things are finalized, but check back later because you do NOT want to miss it. 

Currently browsing Georgetown. I can't even believe this, but in all my time in Northern Virginia, I've never done Georgetown. Post meeting, the husband and I grabbed macarons from Macaron Bee (pink champagne, rose and fleur de sel...surprisingly rose was the best) and checked out the shops. For lunch we stopped at the famous The Tombs near the entrance to Georgetown University. Decked out in rowing gear, this underground stop is worth your time (His: grilled cheese with bacon and tomato with roasted tomato soup. Her's: crab cake sandwich). We also snagged some food photography props at CB2 and I fell in love with some J Crew Ettas that are haunting my brain. 

Currently celebrating June! With a birthday around the corner, I'm planning what I want to do...and most importantly, what to eat. Because, let's be real here, food is a big deal to me. Last year we went to one of the oldest and biggest horse shows on the East coast. This year I'm thinking a polo match.

What is your favorite birthday thing to do and or eat?

Dietitian Nutritionist. My husband Chris and I create food and beverage photos, videos, stopmotions and recipes. And they're really cool.
