It's that time of year when I ponder breakfast and automatically opt for whatever the warmest option is. I don't want cereal. Cold yogurt is pushing it before 8 am. So I find myself really wanting cheesy grits (honest) or oatmeal (dietitian voice)...or this: 10 Grain Hot Cereal from Bob's Red Mill. It is, hands down, the most filling breakfast and truth be told I can't even finish a whole serving. Paired with cinnamon-like persimmons for a winter fruit option and a drizzle of maple syrup, it's a no-brainer bowl of beauty foods: fiber to keep you full, B vitamins for energy and happy hair, and vitamin C for glowing skin.
