My Holiday Decorations: The Fruit Christmas Tree

Last year my wonderful grandmother-in-law gave me her kitchen Christmas tree which was professionally designed in a fruit theme.  I don't think I could have created a more Carlene specific tree if I tried. Pomanders, pears, full sized pineapples and citrus clusters are all tucked away inside greenery. And I wasn't wasting a freaking second putting up the decorations this year in the new house. So the day after Thanksgiving I spent the day doing what you see below.  And because we have agile jungle felines, we decided to put up the tree this year in the enclosed second story porch...which has a door.  If we put up the tree in the main house, the tree would be holding jaguars on the upper most branches. If you have a cat, you know what I mean.
