Monday I turn 24 (going on 70). This is how I plan to spend my low-key birthday weekend:
Start the morning with bagels and lox and a foam topped latte while reading in bed...maybe watch an episode of one of my old favorites, Bewitched on Hulu. We'll do a mid day picnic outside with fruit, cheese, salad and some good bread before heading off to watch some polo matches at the Twilight Polo club . After a late return from the matches, we'll have schaum tortes and rhubarb cocktails. [[Photo credits hyperlinked above//balloons]]
Yesterday I had a fun pre-birthday week event at South Moon Under's Washingtonian June issue party. These are two of my favorite things I tried on: a sea green scalloped skirt and this black and white summer dress with mid-cut out. I didn't need them, so they stayed there, but very cute. I also FINALLY found Cherry Bombe magazine which I plan on reading in bed, with coffee ASAP.
Dietitian Nutritionist. My husband Chris and I create food and beverage photos, videos, stopmotions and recipes. And they're really cool.
