Rainbow Wellness Milkshakes: Because we all need a little whimsy, and probably a lot more wellness.
For our latest Inspired Home piece, we thought a rainbow wellness milkshake was a good balance of the childhood nostalgia we are all gravitating towards right now and the health benefits required once you pass your late 20’s.
While I think the idea of a moon milk latte (a latte with adaptogens and typically a color based powder like beet powder or spirulina or turmeric), I like the idea of simplifying too. Which is why this is more of a ‘chuck everything in a blender and pour’.
We’ve got a recipe for each of these blends on Inspired Home, but I also felt it was important to give you a base recipe for building your own rainbow. While frozen mango or avocado can help you achieve a more milkshake like creamy base, it may muddle the color with natural pigmentation. So if color is your goal, remember start with neutrals.
