Our September menu was very inspired by our trip to Copenhagen in August. We had a simple salad served with breakfast one morning in Denmark and obviously smørrebrød was aplenty. Anise and saffron? You bet. Until that trip I kind of thought saffron was overrated and now I can't wait to experiment more. And if we're going to talk Denmark, don't forget the dill. Dill appears in two recipes meaning you can finally use the unusually large grocery bundles available for purchase.
