Currently at a conference...presenting on lactose intolerance with a cooking demo in front of a few hundred fellow dietitians. ​I'm making a vanilla blueberry custard parfait. Wish me luck...and I pray I don't make the front row a Sea World-esque splash zone of custard.

​Currently spring cleaning... the outside of the house. From washing the siding, vacuuming the porch (yes, I'm married to one of those people), removing so much ivy you'd think the pathway to the yard was in the woods, we're catching up on about 100 years of housework.  

Currently enjoying...fashion books just unpacked from storage and hellebores from the neighbor. ​

Currently styling...a little bit more masculine eclectic? I find myself really drawn to black and white and stripes lately. The black tumblers and simple stripe dish towels from Ikea just called my name. It's happening more often as we make decisions on the house. Tear down the plaster ceiling, find exposed hardwood and beams? Boom. Keeping it open. Need lighting? Want industrial pendants. 

​​​Currently connecting... with fellow DC area bloggers. Casie from Whipped Style and Natalie and Erika from Fashionably Broke hosted a LOFT opening, so I dropped off the husband at Ikea and zipped over. These girls were so sweet and helped me find some cute spring additions to my closet. I'm looking forward to seeing them again later this month! Look at them! Adorable.
