Wow. This is the summer for indie magazines that are honestly good reads! Over the past five years I've seen my fair share of mediocre-fizzle-out 'what the hell, let's start a publication!'s from people in the blog world, but this is a true winner. I bow before the beauty of this magazine.Last week I shared Edible DC with you, but this week my heart is bursting for Trouvé.

I was lucky enough to receive the first edition of the magazine in my goodie bag from Blog Brunch...where I also met Amanda, the editor! She was sweeter than a summer peach and so interesting to talk to.  What really sets Amanda and Trouvé apart in a pretty saturated publication world are the the stories. Sure, there are gorgeous images...but wait until you read every page. It's all about the story.

I basically devoured the magazine immediately after coming back home from brunch. If you like Kinfolk, Mornings Like These or what Martha Stewart is doing in her American Made series, you need Trouvé in your hot little hands. From a potter who still digs up his own clay from Georgia river beds to how you can DIY indigo batik, if you appreciate honest to goodness 'makers' and doers, this magazine has everything ( I feel like Stefan from SNL).
